With a long tradition ranging all the way back to the first mentionning of vinyards in the canton of Zurich in the late 800s a.c. some of these closest grown grapes are underestimated today. With the Agroscope in Wädenswil a national competence center is situated right next to the lake and with wine makers like Erich Meier, new stars rise on the sunny side of the waters.
After all, sometimes it’s great to know what’s just around oneself without going too far.
